What does POS rank mean in ESPN Fantasy? ›

Pos." is the player's eligible position(s). Position eligibility is determined based upon a minimum of 20 games, otherwise any position the player played at least 25% of the time, in 2023. "Pos. Rank" is the player's ranking at his ESPN primary position.

League Structure

Most fantasy managers will draft seven starting pitchers and two closer (pitchers who pitch in close games that earn saves) for their starting pitching lineup. The seven bench spots can consist of any players you desire.
