The new film tells the life story of the fictional boxer Adonis Creed, the character that has been portrayed by Michael B. Jordan, and it has already been released in countries all around the world.
The spin-off is part of the Rocky Balboa film saga, but this instalment has attracted attention for not including Sylvester Stallone, the man who played Rocky in the first two Creed films and in the Rocky films.
Stallone, who is the creator of the environment in which Creed is set and who played Balboa in his role as Adonis' trainer, only appears in the credits as a producer.

"I wish them well, but I'm much more of a sentimentalist.
"I like my heroes getting beat up, but I just don't want them going into that dark space. I just feel people have enough darkness."
This is why Stallone pulled out, meaning it was his decision and not that of anyone else.

Sylvester Stallone Is Unlikely To Return For Creed 4
Per Variety, Stallone wasn't in Creed III because of creative disagreements regarding the movie's darker tone as well as his ongoing feud with franchise producer Irwin Winkler.
