Episodes 2-8: Despite never having given birth, 25-year-old Kaitlyn Braun convincingly perpetrated an unfathomable con on dozens of doulas across Brantford, Canada. Faking stillbirth pregnancies, she preyed on doulas — also a friend and ex-girlfriend — who united to hold Kaitlyn accountable and get justice. In these episodes, you’ll hear how Kaitlyn used social media to lure her victims, emotionally and physically manipulating them into spending countless hours and sometimes days supporting her through this horrific charade.

In a heart-wrenching tale of compassion and tragedy, Leslie, a dedicated NICU nurse, took on the challenging role of adopting a sick baby boy, Jace, to give him a chance at a healthy life. Despite Leslie and her family’s efforts, Jace’s life was cut short when her new boyfriend committed a heinous act, ending the innocent child’s journey to recovery. This season is in loving memory and dedication to baby Jace.
Season 16
This season, listen to creator and host of Something Was Wrong, Tiffany Reese’s, firsthand account of surviving a childhood mired with abuse and uncertainty, and the eventual murder of her beloved baby brother, Bobby. Tiffany will uncover and discover a great deal about her family history throughout the season. Her goal is to use her own experiences to continue to empower victims of manipulation, coercion, familial abuse, and police brutality, as well as enhance the safe, victim-centered space she has already cultivated. In this sixteenth season, listeners will come to understand Tiffany’s truly personal stake in victim advocacy.
